About MedAccessCE™

Built by a clinician. For clinicians. Solutions at point of prescribing.

MedAccessCE™ was founded by Jacqueline S. Marinac, PharmD, CCRC — a clinician-educator-researcher and Harvard Macy Scholar with over 30 years of experience building practical tools that enable healthcare professionals to overcome medication access barriers at the point of care.

Patients first. Always.

Independence statement

No conflicts. No compromises.

MedAccessCE™ is independently authored and owned by Jacqueline S. Marinac, PharmD, CCRC. There is no ownership relationship, licensing agreement, or revenue agreement with any health plan, pharmacy benefit manager, drug manufacturer, distributor, or electronic health record vendor.

My only stake is that treating prescribers and care teams have what they need to navigate barriers and help their patients. That's it. That's the mission.

What MedAccessCE™ is — and isn't

Not software
PA automation tools don't teach clinicians how to appeal a denial or navigate pharmacy deserts. They automate buttons.
Not cost-containment
It's the opposite. It's about clinicians having the knowledge and tools to fight for their patients' access to appropriate care.
Not accredited for continuing education credit
It's practical enablement for clinicians who want to practice medicine — not relicensure box-checking.
13 comprehensive modules
Built by a clinician educator with 30+ years of frontline experience. Real-world scenarios. Smart phrases and templates ready to use immediately.
Updated twice yearly
So you're never working from outdated information in a fast-moving policy environment.
Full scope coverage
Prior authorizations, drug shortages, rare disease funding, coverage gaps — everything. Not a template here and a tool there.

Meet the founder

Jacqueline S. Marinac, PharmD, CCRC

Founder, MedAccessCE™ · Harvard Macy Scholar · Clinician-Educator

Dr. Marinac is a pharmacist, educator, and researcher with over 30 years of experience in medical school education, non-profit administration, continuing education, and the pharmaceutical industry. She has spent her career at the intersection of medication access, clinical practice, and professional education — developing curriculum that is practical, evidence-based, and built to be used at the point of care.

As a Harvard Macy Scholar and sole proprietor of MedAccessCE™, she brings the rigor of academic medicine and the practicality of frontline clinical experience to every course and resource she develops. MedAccessCE™ is her answer to a gap she has seen throughout her career: clinicians who understand the problem but lack the tools to overcome it.

Why I built this

Over 30 years, I watched medicine change. Not for the better — for the bureaucratic.

I've sat with colleagues who went into medicine to take care of patients. Smart people. Dedicated people. People who stayed up at night worried about their patients' outcomes. And I watched them leave. Not because they stopped caring. Because they couldn't practice medicine anymore. They spent more time fighting insurance companies than treating patients.

I've seen brilliant prescribers spend 2+ hours a day navigating prior authorizations, drug shortages, pharmacy deserts, and coverage gaps. I've watched them abandon evidence-based treatment because it was easier than fighting the system. I've seen patients not get the medication they needed — not because it wasn't medically appropriate, but because vertical integration and PBM gatekeeping made access impossible.

This isn't healthcare. This is bureaucracy pretending to be healthcare.

My response

I couldn't fix the system overnight. But I could give clinicians the tools to beat it. MedAccessCE™ is built on a simple principle: your patients deserve the medication that's right for them. Not the cheapest. Not the most expensive. The right one — evidence-based, appropriate, and accessible.

Our mission

Equip clinicians to overcome medication access barriers — at the point of care.

Medication access barriers are one of the most common reasons patient care gets delayed, disrupted, or abandoned. MedAccessCE™ exists to give clinicians the knowledge, tools, and language to fight back — with practical enablement built around real clinical workflows, ready to use today.

Patients first. Always.

Clinician-built

Every course, module, and resource is developed directly by a PharmD educator with 30+ years of frontline experience — not outsourced, not templated.

Practical at the point of care

Smart phrases, templates, and scripts are designed to be used immediately inside actual clinical workflows — not just read and filed away.

Continuously current

The Clinical Operations subscription is updated twice a year so clinicians are never working from outdated information in a fast-moving policy environment.

Patients first. Always.

Every resource is built with one goal: better outcomes for patients who face barriers to the medications they need.
